WOHLLEB RAHMEN Acquires EMSA Rahmenleisten AG, Strengthening its Presence in the Swiss Market

Vienna, August 7, 2025 – WOHLLEB RAHMEN, a leading supplier to professional framers, galleries, museums, and wholesalers, today announced the acquisition of EMSA Rahmenleisten AG, headquartered in Villmergen, Aargau.

With 20 employees and more than 80 years of expertise in the framing industry, EMSA Rahmenleisten AG is Switzerland’s largest supplier to professional framers. The acquisition marks a strategic step in WOHLLEB RAHMEN’s growth plan and significantly strengthens the company’s position in the Swiss specialist trade.

“This acquisition creates a combined group of nearly 70 employees, enabling us to serve as an even more dependable partner to our customers,” said Herbert Wohlleb, CEO of WOHLLEB RAHMEN. “We will continue to develop EMSA’s core business while leveraging the strengths of both companies to deliver innovative products and tailored services for the Swiss market.”

The integration will focus on expanding EMSA’s established operations while capturing synergies in sourcing, product development, and customer service. Together, the companies aim to set new standards for quality and innovation in the framing industry.
